Your enrollment timeline

  1. 1

3 months before your 65th birthday

Your Initial Enrollment Period opens. This is the best time to set things up — enrolling early helps you avoid gaps and penalties.

  2. 2

    Your birthday month

Coverage can begin. We’ll have already mapped your options so you’re not scrambling.

  3. 3

    3 months after

Your window closes. Miss it without other coverage and you may face lifelong penalties — so let’s not.

The mistakes we help you avoid

  • Assuming you’re automatically enrolled (most people aren’t).
  • Picking a plan before checking that it covers your doctors and prescriptions.
  • Missing the 7-month enrollment window and getting a permanent penalty.
  • Going it alone when free, unbiased help is available.
